A brief tutorial on how to turn graphite pencils into non-photo blue lines using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Elements. The blue pencils can then be printed onto bristol for inking without having to worry about messing things up!
As a thanks to all of you Art & Storriors for making the video podcasts possible, Mark and I put together this tour of the place we spend most of our waking hours.
We tour through the Tiny Astronaut studio, Mark’s work areas, and my own little art nook, while doing our best to explain how we’ve organized things and why.
Mark gives us a brief demonstration of how he uses sable brushes to ink his comics. For more audio on our inking techniques, check out The Big Art & Story Party Time episodes 1 and 2!
Jerzy walks through his technique of lettering comics using Adobe Illustrator. This tutorial covers the designing of word balloons and dialogue. Later video podcasts will demonstrate special word balloons, thought balloons, caption boxes, sound effects, and finally exporting to Photoshop.
