ABOUT

Mark Rudolph began making comics in the third grade and hasn’t looked back. One love in a lifetime is enough for most people, but he met his second great love several years later… metal. not one to be a passive fan, mark and a high school chum created the requiem, an extreme metal fanzine, which began his association with the underground metal scene. eventually, since he’s a lousy musician, he carved out his place in metal. Not playing it (although he tries), but drawing it. Mark’s work has been seen on album and magazine covers , t-shirts, posters and playbills.

Mark’s comic work includes many titles published by his imprint CV Comics such as John Oxbow: Man Out of Time, WAR & Echoes From Asteroid X, WAR, Mulligan’s Run and Closing Doors which was featured on a PBS documentary. He has also done design work for many record labels including Relapse Records, Entropy Stereo Recordings, Qbico Records and currently does monthly illustrations for Decibel Magazine.

He lives in the Detroit area.
